Rijkaard finishes 1990 on a high as AC Milan are crowned world’s best - again

Frank Rijkaard was not a regular scorer for AC Milan, averaging about one goal every nine games in Serie A in his five years at the club. His more illustrious Dutch team-mates, Ruud Gullit and Marco van Basten, banged in the goals much more frequently, Gullit at a rate of one in three games and the great Van Basten closer to two in three.

The story is too old to be commented.
