Blatter: Bale could face ban

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has revealed Gareth Bale could be prevented from playing for Tottenham for the duration of the Olympics.

Clearly he didn't want to play for Pearce and the GB squad

so what.

where in his tottenham contract does he say he needs to jump for country whenever he is called upon. if he doesnt wanna play he should have the right to say no.

this is not slavery. FA and FIFA need to wake the F&^k up.

No its not! He could just retire from international football. Once you sign a contract to play for your country (which includes team GB) you have to play. It's not slavery and you get money from sponsers etc.. to play for those teams.

So when you feign injury you are bang out of order.
